For the month of August there have been quite a few competitions to participate in. The monthly classics we all know and love have been present, but there have also been some new fun twists.
ET was of course back with another design competition this month, and this time around the theme was grunge. The competition seemed to be very popular, and many showed their talent and creativity to hopefully win the amazing prizes made by nondesigners Intimate and Moss for female and male respectively.
For dress up, ET continued their Greek gods and goddesses series with the goddess of vegetation and queen of the underworld, Persephone. The prizes for this competition matched the theme perfectly as the sets, designed by talented Ad0xa, resembles what we know of Persephone perfectly. The next dressup competition from ET was also a part of a series, a new one themed after the seasons. For this first round of the series the season was summer and you were supposed to dress up inspired by beautiful summer sunsets. The prizes from this competition are designed by Helmii x Dollzmania for both genders. ET’s last dress up competition from the month of August was elements, periodic elements. Here you were supposed to dress up after one of the elements from the periodic table to try to win the amazing avatar sets designed by Lily / September.
SMT held two different wwib dress up competitions this month. The first one being how we are used to seeing them with an item from the shops, this time it was a brown hair for both genders, that you are going to try to style the best you can from you own wardrobe. The prizes from this competition were statement plaid single items, a pair of pants for males and a short dress for females, designed by Bowie. The second wwib of the month however, was a little different as they called it the “special edition”. This time for a little twist you were instead of styling an item from the shops as normal going to style the actual prize, which was a beautiful curly hair made designer by Mordiera for both genders, in two of the SMT members’ wardrobes.
Congratulations to everyone who won anything this month and good luck to those who participated in a competition where the winners are yet to be announced!
