It's a lot better than most popular media .-. And I meeean... I am referring to season 3, as the rest doesn't really focus on it... But one of the things that are great about their representation, the conversations that Isak and Eskild has... Where he explains certain things that a lot of people need to hear, especially at this time when Trump have become president in the US.
It is a lot better than most US series. Shows such as Sense8 also do a great job regarding LGBT issues, which I think are superior over Skam, but part of it comes down to personal preference.

The show isn't international because of music copyright issues. I read somewhere that they were working on that problem but I also doubt it's going to work out. Either way, I wouldn't want to see the US remake :/

characters are so cute and it's nice that the episodes are not that long. makes it easier to watch and more enjoyable, at least for me. i'm looking forward to what might happen to the characters!
