one of my friends is adopting a dog - my biggest dream, which will never become a reality. i am very jealous.
sigge, though, is moving far away making it very hard for me to petsit him in the future, if at all. i am very sad.
good things come to those who wait, but you would get impatient as well if you had stood in a queue for 18 years, watching others with less passion get what youre waiting for, over and over again. accepting defeat is more valuable than persisting.
