My opinion is that you should be able to donate more than once because it would give you more of a chance to reach ranks quicker.Although, It should only be 2-3 times a day as people would probably level up super fast and it wouldn't be as good to level/rank up because it would be a normal thing. I also say you shouldn't be able to donate more than once because it is kinda fun to figure out new ways to level up.
