I preferred The Used, which is a terrible band as well but I was also only 13. They were like MCR without the awful vocals and the fusion of pop punk and glam rock/metal.

I was obsessed with Flyleaf and Evanescence. To be fair I did move on to better bands like Within Temptation, Nightwish, Epica, Lacuna Coil, The Theatre of Tragedy, ect. but yeah. We all have shameful bands we like in our adolescence.

i think its their attitude a lot of people like. its so edgy and quirky - like i remember when I found them in the beginning of my emo phase and heard their song "dead" it was pure bliss because it was so fucking edgy and 'lol death'


and now i just think its because of the memories
