Last night when he had it removed n it was just us I told him "you look like crap" and he said "thanks" n complained about the tubes sorta in his sides n wanting water n I described his surroundings to him along with what we were all doing (he asked where some people were etc) and our banter made the nurse snicker because we're strange rats
Right now the ICU visiting hours aren't open so my mom is in there as the "one person" after we rested for several hours in the shit waiting room chairs, blankets n all
