I know that can be hard sometimes! but what's important is your own well being and not the nagging voices n opinions of some (random) negative people.

Oh yea def! There's a whole culture surrounding that aha. Lots of people make self deprecating humour. I guess it's just easier to hate yourself rather than love yourself.

Yea I don't really like when people say "you're perfect" or, as you mentioned, "you're perfect just the way you are" because of course that's not true, you can always improve yourself, make yourself a better person n such.
