also decomposing bodies are a great natural and sustainable fertilizer, so we can use them for that too

I agree with that, there's always things you can learn from them, and it's because of them that we can live in the world as we know it. but the world is changing fast, and now it needs new and enterprising ways of thinking, so that we can evolve. some old people that have great power can be very close minded, so that really creates a problem. I think our generation is going to be different, we are always adapting

This reminds me of many dystopians based in the favore of beauty. And old people are a reasource too. They do loads of jobs young people physically can't or aren't trained for. Or would be doing if they weren't there.  Like  I know we love to blame the reguar old people for all our sustainable trohbles. Sorry to break it to people, that that anger is misplaced. It should be on the corporations working against it from day one for profit. When I ask older people in my life, why didn't you do something? Most didn't know it was an issue. Information today is a million time easier accesssesible than before the internet. Most it appears to me, it just didn't reach and I am sure a lot of money was spent to undermine such messages from the science world.
