like for example this:
i made chicken and rice once. human male asks me if i made "regular rice". i say yes, i've made regular rice. then, human male finds out i didn't make boil-in-bag rice. in human male's head, it was obvious that boil-in-bag rice was "regular rice". human male gets angry.

yes that is a true story from about a year ago ok

i think many men have a very concrete and thus rigid way of thinking (concrete thinking also means rigid thinking - eve mandre, 2003). i also think many lack vital parts of what is called theory of mind (but not in the same way as autistic people where it's an ACTUAL disability but more like in a narcissistic way)

it's a myth that we say the opposite of what we mean. we don't. at least i don't. my boyfriend does tho, so i'm starting to think that maybe i am the man in this relationship and he is the woman. if we were to go by the traditional sayings, at least.
