But, these were my criteria:
- somewhere nice (clean and not too loud, especially if eating)
- if it's just to eat somewhere where you can casually spend an additional half an hour or even more just sipping cocktails to keep talking
- no fight over the splitted check (I hate when guys think they HAVE to pay)
- I always advise cinema, because you can clearly find a lot of things if they annoy you about that person - like what's their humour, are they talkers, do they try to cuddle/or even more, you even find out if they annoy you by just being beside them without talking for half an hour, because that really can happen
- a games outing is also not bad (like minigolfing or such) to see how competitive they are
