i think it was changed to prevent constant name changing?
it would be so much better if vp used same system as other sites like this, first (1-3) changes are free and then you'd have to pay. or at least the first ones could be cheaper, now people are just turning their digital cash into digital nothingness. giving ur money back to kaj isnt good for the economy

people getting to change names they feel fit better > some peoples confusion 


And you have the option of putting your oldname on your profile, so theres that already solved.

^^^^ Agreed. Or maybe have it so you can only change your username once every so often (for example, once a year or once every six months).
