 ReportHow my day usually goes..
* Wake up for the third or fourth time since bed, by fussy baby, to discover its 6am. Breastfeed baby in bed, just to push it another two hours.
* Wake up because hungry baby. Breast feed. Being grateful that he's always in a good mood in mornings and can usually entertain himself, until I get my morning routines done.
* Just as I start making/eating breakfast, he decides he wants to be entertained, or need a change (and then entertained).
* Hang some toys over him, why I turbo eat my breakfast.
* Play with the kid. Feel the ambivalent love while having him scream my ear off in excitement (he's just discovered he can yell of pure joy) and tug my hair.
* Watch him struggle and complain (and drool) as he has his tummy time
* Feed him, either some porridge or breastfeed (or both).
* Get him to sleep (maybe go grocery shopping, and have him fall asleep in the pram, not waking until we get home).
* Finally have some time to myself. Either waste it in front of the computer, or do some chores that needed done
* Half and hour or two hours later, he wakes. If its two hours, he's hungry, if its half an hour, he just wants me.
* Have him sit on my lap while he stares blankly at the computer screen with me. Or watch him fiddle with some toys or my phone on my desk - because thats what mommy always does, right? (He's already been hooked..)
* Feed and change as demanded, hope for him to be sleepy after another 2-3 hours
* Hope that its one of his longer naps (3 hours) and try to spend the time wisely
* Forget to feed myself
... rinse and repeat.

Actually, he's pretty easy. At least thats what everyone keeps telling us, and I believe them. He's not that hard to handle, and he doesn't cry too much (but he surely do demand a lot of attention... probably because we can't help but give him that). He's already got a routine a lot like described as above, so it makes it easier to handle the day.
But it can still be pretty stressful, but mainly because I have so little time for myself, especially when I also have to do chores. Despite that, its wonderful. Its really not as bad as people kept telling us before he was born, but apparently he's unusual in that way. Not sure if I dare get another one, in case he/she won't be as easy ...
