Cosplay Chat!

I thought it would be nice to have a forum where people who cosplay and like cosplay could talk and also
help each other out. You can also share pictures of your finished cosplay/cosplays and what you are working on now!
Is there any convent you will go to or planning to go to?
How long have you cosplayed and what fandom do you like the most?

I have been cosplaying for almost a year now and I love it so much! My first cosplay was Queen of Heart from Alice Madness Returns and my first convent was KodachiCon. I was there with a friend and her friends which was fun. I have also been on NärCon Summer 2018 which was so much fun and I loved every second there. I was cosplaying Ruby from Mobile Legends there which was really warm and my weapon was a hell to take with me on the train, but it was totally worth it!
Right now I working on Heather Duke from Heathers, but before that, I finished my Buttercup cosplay from Powerpuff Girls. I was also working on Azura from Fire Emblem but it is on hold now. My plan is to have done four different cosplays because I will have them all on NärCon Summer 2019, so I have to work fast haha. My fourth cosplay is Mulan from Disney but I haven't started on it yet.

I cosplayed between ages 13-18 I don't do it much anymore, but if I ever go to a convention sometime I might bring out an old one. I've mainly cosplayed from Hetalia ad Homestuck because I'm GARBAGE, But I've also done mlp, adventure time and pokemon! My favourites were always the Hetalia ones, because the Hetalia cosplay community was really awesome (save from some creeps). Närcon is always too hot for cosplay, but it's also totally worth fighting it through anyways ;P

I dunno I miss it sometimes, it was a lot of fun!

I have never seen Hetalia, but I have definitely heard about it. Oh, my friend and I have talked about cosplaying from Adventure Time, but we both need to paint our bodies bubble pink or orange which we didn't feel for Närcon Summer 2018. Aah, I remember when I was crazy in Pokemon and wished it was real, haha I still like it but not that much. Yes, and this summer it was so hot! They even told us to leave our hot cosplay at home but there was still people with the game of thrones cosplay and I think it was around 30 degrees.

You should definitely try it again just for old times c;

I really hate when you can't found the right fabric for your cosplay. Like I have searched everywhere and I can't find a green striped fabric. If someone knows a site or store that sells this kind of fabric please help me out!

There are websites that lets you print your own pattern on fabrics, might get expensive though, might be better than hand-painting all the stripes though?

I don't, sorry, I have never used them. I just know they exist And I think I played around a little on one years ago but I really don't know what it was called.  I think I've seen them used by like diy youtubers maybe? Some googling might find you something? if you try searching for some cosplay specific guide for how to use one you might find one that suits cosplaying better?
