Dear Virtual Popstar players,
We in SMT have been on a hiatus, which purpose was to improve how our team is run and create effective schedules and activity plans, as well as revamping our rules and our events.
After taking some time off, we have discussed and fixed issues within the team - both apparent ones that you as users have have pointed out, as well as less visible (behind the scenes) issues the team have had.
The patience you have given us during this time has been incredible, and we are very grateful for your cooperation and support. Therefore, it's important to us to share some of the changes we have made.
Events:
- We have decided to run WWIB only once a month.
- The second WWIB will be replaced by a new dress-up competition, we are currently trialing different competitions to find the best replacement.
- Our Random Event and Raffle will continue as before.
- After feedback on IG- and winner amounts, our events now have a minimum of 30% winners, which is an increase from our past 25%. The amount is different for males, as they have a lower participation count.
Codes:
- Females: Our weekly social media codes are back! Watch out for these on our medias, as they will have different claim amounts every week! (Nothing too low, of course)
- Males: Sadly, there's not enough sets available to give you a weekly code. The purpose of the female Sunday code will be to use old (and sometimes new) sets from other servers. However, we will do our best to ensure that males get a little something for our events, even if there's no sets available. You are not forgotten!
Activity:
- We have updated our schedule with set dates for events.
- We will go back to posting DM, HOF/WOF, MCW etc, and get more active on our social media pages.
- The rules regarding inactivity has become stricter, with an updated Strike system.
- While inactive for a month or longer, a member is not allowed to claim codes (there are exceptions to this if they have done the work required beforehand, so please know that we as a team will keep an eye on this, and it is not always visible how active a member is to someone outside of the team).
Other:
- After our dear designer Ad0xa left DT, we found ourselves in need of a new team designer, and we hosted applications for the position in the Team forums. Our new designer is ShadowJess, so please welcome her!
Thank you for reading, and waiting for our return.
We're ready and excited to come back in June!
