Designers are great and we certainly appreciate and enjoy what they contribute. Things would be very boring without new designs. 
They don't hold the collective power, nor do those who buy credits, to bring VP down.

Long before the reign of Rat, Sol and others we functioned with less than 5 designers (no badges or team either) designs were far and few at times, site still remained.

For at least a year, it was impossible to buy cr on this server. Again, site continued to exist.
