the warranty doesn't let u get a completely new one? repairs aren't always successful since the problem can be in the hardware and with laptops u don't just simply replace a part
to me ur problem sounds related to memory or overheating or a combo of both. in what kinda conditions do u keep ur laptop? how old is it? how much disk space do u have left on ur main disk? when u say crash, do u mean a blue screen?
laptops are generally highly subjectable to overheating which usually leads to their death. it's crucial to keep the fans unobsructed and regularly clean the airways so the laptop can cool down. 3d modeling and programming software are generally very demanding especially in memory and graphics, and if u have been capable of running games fine as of late but this software not, it is most definitely a memory issue

Honestly not sure, I think i will have to check on that with customer service. I did contact them about the issue and have now reinstalled windows (and alllllllll the stupid shis I need for uni and stuff)
I found a forum post that describes exactly what issue that I'm having if you want to take a look:
https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/631962/loving-my-aspire-5-a514-54-but-already-crashed-twice @RedCrate ahhh so it appears that this patricular model released a batch (essentially means one portion of production, which could be like 100 laptops out of 500 as an example) with faulty hardware, meaning u were one of the unlucky ones :/ in which case a repair will not be successful, so i hope u will be eligible for a replacement or refund!
Ah, that makes sense. Hope they can give a replacement or refund so I can get a good one. Although I did get a p good sale on it, 1k dkk off (from 6.5k to 5.5k) so a replacement would prob be nicer. I do rly like this laptop afterall
