i have like, four around the same time lol :'( but my first one is about the erotics in the silent film Lady Windmere's Fan. I'm going to write about Audre Lorde, Georges Bataille, Freud and Susan Sontag in relation to it. so a lot of reading :'( my other essays are about Walter Benjamin's The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (and the meaning of aura in the text) and psychoanalysing The Turn of the Screw. Also there is still my dissertation looming ahhhhh

yeah it's difficult stuff! people always dunk on english (and especially film) for being 'easy' subjects but they certainly keep me busy lol
