my wizard robe and hat

but seriously i have to just wear something comfortable since i have sensory issues. hypersensitive to touch and especially textures and stuff. if i'm not wearing something comfortable it heightens my anxiety severely.
wearing an item of clothing that is uncomfortable gives me the same reaction as someone with arachnophobia seeing a spider. panic and an immediate need to remove myself from the source of it. i had panic attacks and meltdowns as a kid because of clothes.

a white t-shirt with some random word(s)
black or dark blue sweatpants
a black or blue zip hoodie
a blue fake jeans material cap with a little yellow bird on it
a scrunchie for my hair that's always up in a pony tail
a red kånken bag
and i have a black windbreaker (sort of, it's a thin waterproof jacket)
oH and some black nike sport shoes!

so for me it's abt being comfortable ofc but also to look / present more androgyne since that's what feels the best for me
i'm not a person who has a big clothing interest in particular but i'm rly happy n content with my choices

oh no that sounds really difficult to deal with..
i hope you have found a good bunch of clothes that you feel good in.

i actually, for some reason, react a little similar way when i have fever and i'm ill. i don't know if it's in the nerves on the surface of the skin or what but for example taking a shower or wearing not-soft clothes hurts like hell, like the skin is super sensitive

thankfully i do manage to find things i can be comfortable in, i'm lucky i don't find too many types of textures uncomfortable.
just being able to identify it and put it into words makes it a lot easier, and having a family who understands too. when i was a kid the feeling was too intense to stay calm and explain, and my folks didn't know the issue so they couldn't understand why i was struggling so much.

i'm lucky it isn't so bad that it hurts though, that sounds awful! here's hoping you've always got plenty of soft clothes on hand whenever you're ill!

Exactly.
Also very effortless, when the last thing u wanna do in the morning is spending 30 min picking what to wear.

ohh i am glad it's easier now to understand, and supportive family is so important!

i usually hang out in woolen socks, loose t-shirt and a blanket when ill, it works fine! luckily it happens rarely
