Anyway for me personally there is a point when people become "too old" so apparently there's a limit to the age gap I'm comfortable with but other people can do whatever they like. Might still make me uncomfortable though. (Given that both parties are over 18 and there's no power imbalance within the relationship)

I myself would prefer someone that was my age or a yer or two older, but then again I'm just 17 & it's my personal preference. I don't think I could connect well with people much older than that, but you never know i guess.
