yah. triggers are for mental illnesses in general. if you have social anxiety, crowds can trigger a panic attack. if you have depression, something can trigger a depressive episode. if you have an eating disorder something can trigger that.
i dont like how "trigger" is used when talking about ~~~crazy~~~ sjws because it waters down the word and changes meaning. normally, id argue that thats just how language evolves, but when it has one clinical definition, its actually important to stick to that
its hard for me to believe that every person in this topic that has said "this triggers me" actually get triggered or really just feels uncomfortable when that certain issue is discussed or mentioned. thats essentially what im trying to convey
