Box bleaches usually have 9% developer which is the second strongest (12% is the strongest) so when you bleach at home you use developer that is too strong, that is the main reason your hair turned dry. Usually when you go from dark to blond at a salon its a long process, cause they use a more gentle developer to slowly take of the color and you let the hair rest a few weeks between the bleachings.
But since you got the appointment i would suggest you deep condition your hair for the time being to give your hair more moisture. And you can wear a hat or a beanie until friday if the hair is bothering you.
But I really hope you will get your hair looking amazing!

o

updo's until the appointment?
it's best to just leave it until then, maybe do a hair moisturizing treatment?
i dont wanna do an updo because of the platinum blonde roots (i was dumb and put it on my natural hair color that is a ashy blonde / rly light brown)

but yeah i guess that's for the best

Ah, thanks i didn't know about the developer part. I did bleach my hair once at the hairdresser, it was dark brown, and it was blonde with one bleach, still very healthy feeling to it, but now i've been having black hair for a while so yeah.. It's kinda harder. The hat thing is smart tho idk why i didn't think of that lmao

but thank you <3 i hope so too
im also kinda excited for shorter hair

Why aren't you learning tho.
If she refuses to bleach it because it will only get worse why are so adamant on having it bleached again?

because she refused when my hair was BLACK?
doesn't anyone read my messages here?

-> i bleached it twice at home AFTER she said she won't bleach my hair from black to blonde because SHE DOESN'T KNOW how much damage it will do, she said I CAN TRY to do it myself at home.
