say by the fact that many of these probably use shitloads of spf 50, that would make them naturally dark, if they went to tan, they would have been darker. So I understand why they're considered dark (i know its not very dark, but it isn't light yk). It's horrible that people consider dark skin less beautiful in Asia, because it's so beautiful on them.

yeah i get what u mean but its crazy that they get told they r too dark as soon as they get just the smallest tan like imagine how hard it must be to maintain a pale complexion when ur natural complexion is tan/brown like they probably have to wear a shit ton of strong sun screen to be able to even go outside for a couple of minutes. Do u know if skin bleaching products are a big thing in korea? I know that its a huge thing in india and some other countries where light skin is considered like the epitome of beauty and its heartbreaking to see how they feel like their dark skin is not beautiful to the point where they use harmful creams that literally bleaches their skin. Its so weird to me

considering the fact that "dark" is seen (in asian countries, esp SK) as someone who's poor and always out in the sun farming, they always try and make the idols "whiter" because they don't like dark skin because lighter skin = professional who works in the office/rich/not poor (idk how to describe) and it's so stupid
