While I brushed my teeth this morning a stray sunray shone in through the window and warmed my shoulder, making for an absolute banger of a start to the day for me. I've also hit my first subgoal of my diet, which is very nice.

I had a very nice walk in this spring weather with my dog too this morning, while I listened to the audiobook The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Leigh Bardugo, and my dog had absolute fun while I listened to a heartwrenching and beautiful story in World War I. Historical fiction usually isn't my cup of tea, but this really is a breath of fresh air.

This week I'm going to receive some books and my lovely dress I bought last week, so that's fun. I'm also waiting on a call on whether or not I got the job I was interviewing for last week, and I hope I get it. I also hope to really break though my thesis this week, because I cracked it open yesterday, and now I'm ready for some intense sessions to finish it up.

I'm happy to hear about your great start to the morning too, and that you're seeing the positive in grey clouds! (sometimes it's not really the weather you want.)

I love the creatives! I also recently got back into creative writing, and I'm hoping to have the thesis out of the way soon, so I can get back into it.

Life is very good!! Sucks with the wisdom teeth, but I'm guessing the two weeks of vacation really makes up for it. Also less mouth pain as a quality of life enhancer
