Now here's mine for you to read:
(And for those people that do complain, I hope you read it, put yourself in our shoes and then maybe you'll shut your big ignorant mouth)
Before I luckily got accepted into the TPC, I already knew the site was dying out and such. There were barely any articles up, but when they did post, the hard work definitely did show. Now when I applied, I was hoping to get into TPC to help out and everything and actually make a difference. Now we're dying out again. As Dani said, don't just apply for the damn badge. If there was no badge, would you still apply for any of the teams? People are complaining about how the TPC has like so many members yet barely an article an week. Do you even know how many people are active in the team? We have about 5 people that help out like daily and the rest of them don't even talk in the forums. And for the people complaining about ET, do you know that all the teams are dying out? Including the ET? We're trying to function and get everything together but we barely have any power without the admin's help. And they had about 5+ activities over the course of Christmas and most of that was hosted by like one person. (Round of applause for Alana) Now they ran out of money (as i've heard) and kaj doesn't even care about it. He says his "lyme disease" makes it hard for him but if you can go on the Dutch server, host admin applications, make a video of yourself talking about what requirements you need, then I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to transfer some virtual money to some account which you don't even need to get up for. And also, really, too much work to change our name and badge for TPC? Really? I'm sure recording that video and editing it would take more time. I'm fine with the name and such but seriously? And don't forget the schoolwork or jobs that we have. I hope that you guys know that this isn't our life, and we do have stuff to do rather than go on a dying website on a internet where you can't even try and support it.
And to the Dutch Server People that are complaining (like idiots): Stop trying to compare us to you. I would like to know how you can think that. You try working on a server that has like no one. You try working and getting badges out without an admin who doesn't even care. You try hosting competitions and writing articles daily with 3 writers and like 5 people active on the ET. And then keep doing that and get no feedback for your articles, half the people that don't even read it then complain. Then host a competition where like 5 people join and then people complain about the lack of contests there are. Then have another server come and complain about what you're doing wrong and what you should do when you're not even in a damn team. Yeah, I'm sure that would go swell for you guys.
A lot of (not annoying, not bratty and mature) dutch people are coming to our site and pointing out the fact that they do not complain about us or anything.
Can I just point out the fact that it says, "To the Dutch Server People that are complaining.." It isn't directed to everyone on the Dutch server because I'm pretty sure not everyone's complaining about us and etc. So if you weren't one of those people that complained, calm yourself. So...don't all take offense.
And to everyone on a team: Keep trying your best, guys. Maybe one day, our work will get acknowledged.
Had to get that out. Sorry if this offended anyone in anyway possible. You know what? I'm actually not sorry at all. Don't criticize us before you know what's going on.
