Thank you. When I studied History I had one course called "Superpowers in the Middle East" and I legit cried. A lot. Like, cna you believe that two of their prime ministers have gotten the nobels peace prize?????? Also one of them accepted a request to invade, rape and pillage small villages near the border of then-Israel in the 1940's, and then the government refused to let other than Israeli historians look at the documents until the late 90's - and that they NEVER translated anything to english, so everything is in hebrew and if someone gets to read them they have to KNOW hebrew???

That might be, but to be fair I didn't watch that one either, and the systematic oppression in Isreal is what tilts me really hard right now. If the US hosted I probably wouldn't watch it either, same goes for Russia. Idk, I just have a burning hatred for some governments. Can't express enough that thisdoesn't apply to the general population, just the government and how some things are run.
