i get so angry about "music these days!! isnt what it used to be !!"
It's generic yeah, but I don't hate it. Not going to put it on my itunes playlist but also not gonna skip it if it's on the radio. Takes me back to the era of puddle of mudd, stained, candlebox, creed and breaking benjamin. all of which was just highly mediocre, but not as terrible as people made it out to be imo.
Rockstar is when they went to hell and they've never returned. Personally I think a lot of people hate them so much because they feel like they have to. No one really seemed to have a problem with them until like 2006-2007.
ugh I will admit that I really like Maroon 5's first album. The second one was ok. They don't really do much for me anymore.
I just really, really, really like this song. I'm sorry:
It was so fresh for the time tbh. Also Adam was one of my very first crushes lol.
I don't like their new sound very much tbh. Songs About Jane will be their favorite album for me forever.

Is it my favorite Nirvana album? Not by a longshot. Yes, it was mass-produced and not what the band truly wanted to do. That album was their baby though, and allowed them to make more money and produce the follow-up In Utero (which was far superior and less commercially successful.) Yeah, people who only know Nevermind-or even worse-only know Smells Like Teen Spirit yet claim to love Nirvana aggravate me. I really don't care. Polly and Something in the Way are beautiful tracks.
The people who hate Nevermind are usually just pretentious hipster wannabes tbh.
beyonce sings songs that are empowering for woman. I will admit I find Britney more catchy. Irreplaceable is fucking annoying as well as Single Ladies but the lyrics are really amazing. She's honestly such a good role model for young girls. Not a fan of her music but I like her as a person, a feminist icon, and she can actually sing (unlike Britney.)
I prefer Destiny's Child personally (rip early-mid 2000's RnB.) Also I honestly like Solange over Beyonce. Solange is extremely underrated and I listen to her far more than Beyonce.
