Zaria grabbed her suitcase and stuff whatever she could find in her wardrobe. She, unlike most girls, wasn't picky with what she wore. Hearing the music that her step-brother turned up to full blast, she rolled her eyes and banged on his door. ''OI, TURN IT DOWN!'' She shouted, flinching a little when he opened the door.
''Who said you were the boss of me?'' He said with a smirk. Zaria copied his smirk and hit him hard in the stomach, laughing as he fell on the floor.
''Unless you want to be stuck here with my dad and your mum making out,'' She said, grabbing him by the ear and moving her face close to his. ''I suggest you hurry the fudge up and get in my car as quick as you can because if you don't, I won't drive.''
He swore at her and then turned the music off, grabbing his suitcases and bags and made his way outside after her. Zaria's dad and her step-brother's mum, May, wanted the two of them to attend Summer Camp and work there to bond a little. They knew they despised each other at first and now they were sending them off for camp. It was funny how she was just a year younger than him and yet she was already the boss of him, hurting him if he didn't do what she said. She wasn't a bitch; she just got angry easily.
Like that one day, years ago, that tore her family apart.
She opened her car door and put all their bags in the back, turned the key and was about to drive off with Ashleigh, her step-brother, when their parents arrived at the door, her father's hand wrapped tightly around Ashleigh's mother's waist. ''Gross,'' She thought.
''Have fun, princess!'' Shouted her father and she face-palmed when Ash sniggered at her.
''You too, pumpkin!'' This time it was her time to laugh as Ash's mother called her son a cute nickname and he burned red.
''YEAH, YEAH, WHATEVER, BYE!'' Zaria hit the gas and drove quickly before another word was said.

She walked out to the car after a long goodbye, and jumped in, driving away from home and checking her make-up in the rearview mirror before she left.

Joey sat in the back seat of the car, his legs spread across the entire back seat. He groaned and ran his hands down his cheeks, and then rubbing his eyes. He took his hands away from his face, and yawned. It was quite early for him; he usually spent most of the day hid under his duvet, sleeping the day away. Running his hands through his hair, giving him the attractive messy look, he stared at his mum who was driving the car. Truth be said, he wasn't too bothered about going to a summer camp. He'd worked quite a few times before, mainly as a shop assistant, and was actually pretty good at it. Sure, he liked to drink on top of that but he had a pretty decent life. As they arrived at the camp, he looked around as people started arriving and then stepped out of the car and gazed at everyone confidently. Also, on top of working, he was also excited to see what type of girls were here. He turned to his mum as she stepped out of the car and mirrored his stance; their arms down by the sides stiffly. He and his mother weren't really ones for hugging, but this was an exception. He encased his mum in a small hug before nodding and taking out his suitcase.

She always made him do whatever she wanted him to do and it annoyed him. So much. If her mother knew where her place was then they wouldn't be in this mess.
Zaria parked outside a sign that said: ''EVERGREEN SUMMER CAMP'' and he quickly hopped out, wearing his sunglasses as the sun shone intensley at them.
He saw little kids running around the place, laughing and giggling at eachother as they had fun. Ash was such a kid himself, even if he was older than Zaria and grinned as they continued to play.
''Well this is going to be a great summer.'' Said Zaria, sarcastically and Ash just frowned at her.
