Letting my mind wander back to the various rooms I'd passed since arriving here, I couldn't recall having seen a single fireplace anywhere. With that being said, it wasn't like I'd explored every single room here either. Lucas' idea wasn't too bad, and searching for a fireplace was probably a good idea anyways, considering the cold that would be creeping up on us eventually. I was, however, considered about the meat. Freezed meat could stay good for a long time, but only God knew how long since this meat had been fozen down. Canned food would've been a much better option, and that should've been our priority, searching for that, as that would last longer. But I was not the boss, and nor had anyone asked for my opinion. I instead made a quick mental note, to check out the grocery store we'd passed not too long before arriving, as soon as I had the time.

I walked out of the kitchen and up some stairs i hadn't been before, my idea was that if there was some big room they would be on the second floor.
