I interacted and got to know not only Palestinians, but Arab and Muslim people as well, but for this question I'll talk about the Palestinians, I have met enough Palestinians that have mostly told me queer and trans people either need help or should be killed as it is haram and unnatural, there was only 1 person who told me they simply didn't care

clearly this is not representing the entire demographic which is why I said some of those people, even with statistics it would be dumb and not fair to say the entire demographic is a certain way as they are all individual people, but a certain amount would agree with it, and if they had the power\authority, act upon it

i am aware how certain people who follow islam think, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't support them because they are experiencing a genocide as we speak. there are queer muslims too who have been killed, or are being killed by the "state" of Israel for YEARS now, so i don't see how you can even say that there are "sides" to this?

first, im guessing you're from western or northern europe, so ill tell you, even in europe you can be killed for being gay (a shocker), so using "they kill queer people" as an excuse to not support Palestine is wild to me. Their land is being stolen and the people are being ethnically cleansed, women and children are being specifically targeted and the biggest concern is queer people supporting Palestine or them hypothetically being killed there (as if not everyone is being killed regardless of their faith or sexual orientation, but just by being palestinian). other than that, even non-palestinian people are being killed for being against the genocide, so honestly, your comment was definitely not it.

there are NO excuses to not be against a genocide. they are wiping out an entire nation of people- i genuinely don't know how to express how serious this is, since you clearly never had the fear of being displaced or threatened by war.

it makes me mad and sad knowing some peple take this so lightly.

Dont demonize people who are being killed for existing and are fighting to survive every single day.

This is just a small portion of what's going on.
So, queer or not, there's ZERO reason to turn your head to the genocide and not protest. (if you have any empathy, of course.)

I would say to end it here, you are not wrong, in what they have to go through, and you are not wrong in the fact that there are, no excuses, to not be against a genocide, however, I was and never will be against one of those, it is a clear fact .
