like I know Luxembourg won two years in a row and the second time someone else hosted because Luxembourg couldn't or wasn't allowed to host twice in a row. but still being the hosting country is really sought after because of the implications it has for esc tourism and just tourism in general. there are ways to help them out if they can't host, but I feel like it really would take a country a lot to say on their own, that they don't want to host despite being the winning country

but in regards to ukraine we have no way of knowing how things are going to look even tomorrow or next week, so speculations on two months and a whole year from now is useless. if they should win, im sure they would come to a good solution.

we don't have the means to host and thus it's decided that participating isn't financially worth it
but I mean, how big are the chances of continuing our streak of awesomeness? we haven't participated in 30 years and are still in the top ranking list when it comes to overall wins :d

I definitely hope that if they win, they'll be able to find a solution that is the best for the country in general, because something trivial and stupid as esc shouldn't ruin someone's economy or broadcasting service, so really hoping for the best

The last chance semi final was weird, idk how that woman won but whatever tbh, I think subwolfer (idk if I wrote that right) or trollfest would b the best picks for eurovision but I think mby trollfest would have been better, but they were robbed by stupid man in semi final 1 or smth, idfk. no that last chance song was atrocious, she couldn't sing it and she used her kids for sympathy votes gross
trollfest should have been in the final, but i think subwoolfer was the right pick in the end
