Let's give some appreciation to V-pop music!
Sơn Tùng M-TP dropped his new music video yesterday on his birthday, and is releasing a new album very soon. The music video in my opinion seems very aesthetically pleasing on the eye and the beat is really catchy. The lyric translation in English makes it seem like a beautiful innocent song.
Do you listen to any Vietnamese music? If so, whose your favorite artist or whats your favorite song?
If you don't listen, do you plan to after seeing this video? If you are familiar with K-pop I feel the tunes in Sơn Tùng M-TP's songs are very similar and may attract the K-pop listener in.
When i first discovered Sơn Tùng one of his songs was in my discover weekly, I remember listening to it and thinking it wasn't bad, i was liking it. I even sent the screenshot to my husband and had to ask him what the title was in English. Of course after that as I added a couple more of his songs into my fully k-pop playlist, my recommendations at the bottom were just taken over by Vietnamese artist, that's fixed now though
