1. The Dreaming (so fucking creative, innovative, ahead of its time and probably still is now in 2020)
2. Hounds of Love (just a masterpiece and we know it, the ninth wave part of the album omfg)
3. The Kick Inside (who doesn't love crazy witchy kate really? and wuthering heights is my fave song of all time)
4. Never for Ever (babooshka, army dreamers, breathing, the wedding list omfgggg)
5. Lionheart (i mostly like maybe half of the album, but the songs i like i reeeeally really love sooo)
6. Aerial (such a beautiful concept and so calming)
7. The Sensual World (but i'm so unsure of this ranking. but can we talk about how deeper understanding literally is about how computers are like addicting and it was written in the late 80s?)
8. The Red Shoes (i loved it but i mostly just listen to the songs in the first half of the album and they're great)
9. 50 Words for Snow (i loved it but it's so hard to find like a place and time to listen to it since it's so wintery and just piano and the songs are like all soooooo long and slow but sooo pretty so i hate this ranking)
10. Directors Cut (does that one even count really? it's like her doing covers of her old songs because she wasn't really happy with some of them. i loved some but some were already perfect so i'm a bit upset aaaaaahhhh)
MAYBE THIS BUT I'M NOT SURE. DOES IT SHOW I'M A STAN. I SWEAR I'M NOT CRAZY. YOU ASKED ME TO RANK THEM AND I TOOK THIS VERY SERIOUSLY.
haha it's fine!! i love ur enthusiasm about Kate. thanks for the ranking
but i'm still not sure about it!! i feel like all of them are so good. like 50 words for snow is incredible but just not something i listen to a lot since it's such a special mood ya know? btw which albums have you heard? c:
