i mostly watched this movie for charlie day (luigi), so of course i was super excited over all of his parts! i do wish he had more screen time though, but i do understand that they had to prioritize since the movie was only 90 minutes! speaking of which, it felt like they got a lot of story in for only 90 minutes!!! so many twists and turns, i loved it! even though i pretty much knew it was gonna be a good ending (since childrens movie and all) i still got genuinely afraid for them at some points in the movie, especially when donkey kong and mario were in the water, as well as luigi with the lava.
i thought the post credit scenes were fun and i really liked jack black's performance in the songs, so fun!! also saw that he helped write peaches? which i mean, there wasnt that much lyrics, but still so very impressive!!! as for the second post credit scene, i hope its hinting at a sequel, maybe luigi centered? idk maybe im just being delusional but yea hehe. would love to see something more luigis mansion-esque!
if anyone else here has seen it, pls talk about it with me!!!! and even if you havent, feel free to talk about it with me, i always wanna infodump about shit i dont know shit about
also just a note, i WILL be using all luigi voicelines and putting them in iasip scenarios because charlie is my babe
