a kpop band i really like is doing their first europe tour and i bought a ticket for their germany  date !!
its ma first ever concert ever so im really nervous ... my friends all couldnt go with me because its on a random wednesday, one friend doesnt have any vacation days left and the other doesnt know if she will have a job by that time as shes still in japan rn for her masters exchange year and she needs more time to just settle again in germany.

anyways, ummm ... its in a nightclub so its all standing places, so i suppose i need to be there early to get a good spot haha. probably gonne have to bring lots of water ... are you allowed to have bags inside a venue?

ppl with experience going to concerts, pls give me some wisdom on what to expect !!
when do artists usually announce the setlists for the dates?

well i've been to a similar type of concert before, i guess my once piece of advice is that its gonna be really loud, well i mean the concert i went to was a punk rock show so take that with a grain of salt. that show was so loud and thumping i could feel my insides moving around with the noise, not fun for me :cry

as far as im aware if they are worried about bags they'll do a bag check, unless its different in europe they wont dump out ur bag just look in it or pass it thru a metal detector or xray machine. dont worry too much about it tho since they have to get a ton of people in so they arent gonna spend much time on each person. bringing your own water is a good idea too but the venue will likely have drinks (outside of alcohol) but they'll of course cost you.

let me know if theres a merch table at this concert since thats pretty typical with the concerts i've gone to but those are all rock shows so kpop shows might be different :3

also if its standing space people are likely more inclined to let you walk thru, but again thats from my experience at punk shows i went to with my mom and step dad as a kid so theres more variables in play there.

u should @ me u know im concert pro.. my brains fried now tho so this might not make sense

bag thing depends on the venue so probably try to look around online to see fi they have info on it somewhere. idk about nightclub concerts and idk about germany, but some actual concert venues will just not allow any bags in period. others will just check them, but even then you'll probably not be allowed to bring a big one. they'll likely have a wardrobe where u could leave a bag if ur not allowed to bring it inside or whatever but that's usually not free

most venues will absolutely not allow u to bring water inside so i wouldn't do that.. but since its a nightclub itll ofc be available to buy. probably overpriced... . if it gets crowded near the front of the crowd they'll hopefully be giving out water there so people dont pass out so maybe u should just push everyone out of the way n steal a sippy ezpz

how early u should show up depends on a lot of different things so really hard to say..  but i'd be at LEAST an hour early (from when doors open) to avoid getting caught in the crowd while trying to get inside and also to get a good spot, but again idk it can differ... it being a nightclub could mean a lot of people won't bother to settle by the stage right after getting inside  but 🤷

thank u for ur insight as well!! i actually found some info on bags and they allow bags up to dia4 size. thats such a weird way to talk abt size of a bag but i guess that makes sense haha. but since they also say u arent allowed to bring ur own water i might just go with no bag, just my fannypack because thats where my cards, id and stuff is in. ill just stuff my purse inside as well ...

that sound rlly smart yea!! its so much nicer to go to concerts when you dont have to worry about holding a bag or potentially getting pickpocketed 😭😭 thinkin about the one time my fear of getting pickpocketed resulted in rob zombie stepping on my bag instead. much preferred would recommend
