She sat in her bed, surprised to say the least. It was late into the night and the stars were shining their brightest, twinkling at her. The moon was full and round, smiling down at her. Could it have been a dream? Simply a figment of her imagination? 20 18 19 20 19
Killing is easy. It shouldn't be, but it is. When I was younger I thought I would grow up to be a doctor, yet here I am. Doing the exact opposite of saving people. But someone has to do it. There are people in this world that seek destruction and mayhem. Maybe you are wondering why I find killing easy? It wasn't to begin with. I still have nightmares of the first time I pulled the trigger at a living target. Nothing quite prepares you for the moment where life leaves someone's eyes and their lifeless body drops to the ground with no control. It is frightening. It is bloody. But when you know that he kidnapped and murdered twenty-nine little girls it suddenly becomes worth the nightmares you are left with.

When she wasn't helping her parents manage the farm, she liked to pretend she was a pirate. She even saved up enough money to buy a beautiful blue hat, that looked like something a pirate would wear, or so she thought. Often, she would go on adventures in the woods behind her house. She even had a lair where she would keep her treasures. It was deep in the woods and very hard to find. She never quite grew out of that phase. Even now, as an adult, you can find her looking for treasures of all kinds, with her blue hat and her cat named Parrot. The townsfolk say she's part pirate, part farmer. No one is quite sure which part she was first.
