Heh, I remember when I was a newbie here and I found out by accident that you could use your wardrobe and the shop at the same time, and enter the comp with shop clothes, as if you borrowed them from the store and then gave them back afterwards.
That really helped broke and ugli little me, get a chance in the competition and made it actually fun to play at the time; and - by the off chance that I actually won - I gained enough popdollars to buy more clothes and to buy better vehicles and that felt good cuz leveling up and earning money takes fooreeever.
...I Wish that still was a thing you could do.
OR..... Something similar! ON THE SPOT IDEA!: Maybe you could get an optional wardrobe filled with just a few randomized items that you could choose to use in the competition instead of your real wardrobe, and that wardrobe only last through that competition and then afterwards becomes unavaivable. It would probably get more people to play because then they would at least feel like they have an actual chance.
I've never seen anyone play the credit version of the fashion contest. Like, ever. I wonder if the prices there are even worth it, prolly not, who cares, I'm never going to play that version anyways.
Random rant aside - we're 4/6 currently and been like that for an hour and I'm bored soooo
