My family celebrates Christmas but when we were younger we never believed in Santa since we never any of the traditional preparing for Santa like the stuff with milk and cookies and our chimney was always locked. Our parents never told us Santa was real (They would just write "From Santa" on our gifts but it was obvious it wasn't haha)

True I miss those! That was great, in elementary & high school. I would also wear Christmas sweaters for like the whole month back in high school. I was quite festive haha.

Now holiday time = final exams death

In Denmark we have a tradition, where you hide an entire almond in the ris a la mande (rice pudding), and whoever finds the entire almond in their bowl wins a gift.

It was always so exciting as a child to dig through the rice pudding and find one.

I'm not a big fan, but I can manage to eat it.
My family don't really care that much, everyone can participate even if they don't like rice pudding.

- Do you also do pakkeleg (parcel dice game)?

Haha, it is a little sickening even if you just eat a little bit.

Mmmh, I don't expect much since we usually open the presents under the tree somewhat afterwards.
