I once got told, that making it for the competition means, that it has to be meant as a design specially made for entering the competition. Because you don't always have to give the teams the designs for use afterwards
might also be that they changed that rule, but then, they didn't notify anyone about it

which is a bit of a nonsense, but ok, if that's how the rules should work
I guess ET better mark on all their competitions, that you can just enter or even win, when it's your main server, else people will always be salty
