Katie Lynch is a first-year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At the opening ceremony, she got put into Ravenclaw due to her wit, something she showcased when her friend, Kevin, nearly lost his kitten into a cauldron in their second Potion class. Her wand is made from cedarwood, speaking strongly of her loyalty and strength. Despite her love of knowledge, Katie wants to be a Quidditch player at Hogwarts, and consider flying lessons one of her favorite classes (second to transfiguration, of course!) Katie is known for a sense of humor among her childhood friends and hopes to meet a lot of great witches and wizards during her time at Hogwarts. Currently, she's pursuing a relationship with her favorite student thus far, a first-year Slytherin girl named, Iven.
The difference between her landly upbringing and Hogwarts has given her a great love for the cozy stores of Diagon Alley. Despite not being allowed to go during the semester, she's waiting for her parents to return for Yule, and to shop her pockets full of sweets and junk before she goes home for the holiday. She wishes for a pet of her own, a white cat, but will settle with anything. (Maybe not the most recently deceased Aunt Tora's old ring, even though it probably would come to good use.) Katie wishes for her patronous to be a deer, since she has grown up with them around her home.
