It takes many trials and errors in order to get better. I've been designing since 2017 now and I still feel like you do all the time especially when so many of my designs don't get accepted. Don't forget to do it because you enjoy it and you will get better over time! :)

my first 3 designs are not even posted anywhere because they're so shitty lol. lots of practice, lots of redoing stuff and lots of looking at references. you don't get instantly good at something, i've been drawing for 7-8 years.

it should probably be cropped same size as the outline that was posted in the original post. If your hair or clothes go over, you just make the crop as big as you need, just use any program you like and make the background of every item transparent. If you did something wrong, they'll probably tell you :p Just draw your design for now
