Because we are too small. We can't see that far preliminary, but we are born with brains so intelligent that we are expanding our view of the universe, and we can see more and more of the beautiful miracles every year. But for now we can only see all the beautiful miracles that are happening closer to us and on our dear earth, we just doesn't look at it as miracles anymore - because we see it everyday. But dont you think the way creatures get born and die everyday are a miracle? Dont you think the way the sun and the moon can move the ocean are a miracle?
