yes but probably because i
a. suck at drawing;
b. used my trackpad pixel by pixel; and
c. they just introduced the feature today so it isn't very optimized yet...

haha they have stamps and "coloring page" like templates so you can make some fun stuff even if you aren't the best drawer! 
maybe they'll have a  "marketplace" like acnh though n people will be able to share/trade for designs n then lots of cool stuff will get around

i've seen other people's cats on their roof though so maybe mine isnt special lol

such cute pics!! i know the easel was 2k gold and the paint cans i think are 50 gems, as for tickets you get 5 of each ticket for putting custom designs on for the quests and it only costed 1 for my shirt (haven't finished furni quest yet so not sure if same). i'm not sure if i've seen tickets yet but haven't really looked. I absolutely would be scared to spend them if i don't see more too
