my glasses are my most expensive thing they cost me almost 6000kr and I wear them all the time. I only have -1.00 and +0.75 I have progressive glasses. I've only been wearing glasses since 2020.

Do you wear glasses? What is your prescription? How old were you when you got glasses?

I could never wear contacts. I'm too afraid of not being able to get them out of my eyes lol

right  i have amblyopia on my right eye, significantly blurry vision even with glasses
that caused my right eye to kinda become lazy when i was a little kid so i had to wear an eye patch for many years to strengthen the eye muscles and fix the inward turning a bit >< it is much better now in terms of that but the blurriness will never go away

thats super sucky lol
i have astigmatism in one eye and i developed the tick that sometimes i just close the eye (without noticing it) because its easier to focus on things like reading tiny script without the astigmatism in the way

i have -2 something in both eyes but i dont really wear my glasses because the amount of detail overwhelms me. also they keep getting too lose and its stressful to go get them fixed. i got them like 3 or 4 years ago

it is a little bit but i guess as long as i have my left eye everything is alright...
also i can imagine why you would find it easier to do things like that with one eye closed so i completely understand u TT
for me i don't have any issues like that lol i think my right eye just never contributes to anything unless i close my left one dnsmsdn

ur brain probably got used to filtering ur vision and using mostly the better eye. really cool that our brains can compensate a lot
