Why give codes? Can't you fixs so you just do like when we get DM? You put it in our wr just like that, no codes, no trouble..
Sadly no we can't.
Those are things automatically set into the programming.
hmm. okey. Then the code the person get only works one time? On the IP adress or so. You can tell ppl "don't use the code you get or LE codes more than 1 time!". The ppl who take codes and so more than one time, will do it. How many times you tell them. I never take a code, bc I miss then every damn time.
you can already only redeem a code once per IP but it's very easy to avoid

It's mostly for people who use proxies to redeem codes multiple times and then sell them to make profit. It has already been a rule you can't claim a prize code multiple times, but we've extended it to, for example, ET Sunday codes.

Why is it so important for people to speak negatively about others? If you have a problem with someone take it up with the mods or that person.... why do you have to talk about it on threads and startalk and stuff? How can that be anything other than unnecessary?

And you can still mail your friends about them or stuff like that. So it's not like venting about people are totally forbidden. It's just the ganging up and starting groups talking shit about people that is limited.

startalk isn't supposed to be used for negative behaviour. speaking negatively is bullying. if you saw someone say "aww man, this person sucks at designing" and they were talking about yourself, would you not feel bullied?
You want to trash talk someone so badly, keep it off vp.

I enjoy gossip as much as anyone but I understand why it's not really allowed or rather; beneficial for the community.

But speaking 'negatively' is such a broad term - that's all i'm saying
of course people shouldn't bully and trash talk people in forums, startalk or even private messages, but you can't just tell people they can't speak negatively about anything ever
what if someone had a genuine complaint/issue about something on the site and they didn't feel like the mods took they seriously when they asked? (just an example, i imagine you guys are really helpful if people have problems, it def seems like it from what i've seen) Shouldn't they be allowed to go on startalk or into forums and say "hey guys, are you experiencing this too? I don't feel like i'm being treated fairly"
Negative speech is usually part of constructive criticism, and if you want feedback or help with ways to make the site better then you kinda need negative speech, eh

silencing everyone, because a small amount of people have been provocative/rude doesn't solve anything, imo

as much as i am for free speech, this isn't that bad as you're making it out to be
there should be a standard to be upheld at least in 'public'
this isn't targeting a lot of players tbh, they can still say what they said before for the most part
it doesn't prevent criticism at all, but there's a difference between being a whiny brat who thinks they're entitled to the teams' works and giving suggestions and insight on how the team is working with the vp community

We aren't silencing anyone. In that case, I wouldn't call it talking negatively about someone as long As they didn't go "hey guys, Hotlips has been a bitch, anyone agree?" (Just for example).
I can change it up to make it more understandable of what we mean, one second

Alright, maybe I misunderstood
Either way, I'm glad you're willing to try to make it more clear, because from what you wrote it seemed like all kinds of 'negative' attitude/behavior/speech would get punished (at least to me)
