i think the group chat nature of vp nowadays makes it difficult for new people or even old people to really get into it because it feels like you're invading something that doesn't really involve you

i took a long break from vp and started being more active again in jan/feb this week. i def felt like an intruder in the first few weeks but rly. at the end of the day we're all just strangers on internet yk. if you wanna talk, talk and someone will be there to listen, even in threads with groupchat vibes.
