books is basically my entire personality at this point

Do you have a favorite genre?
always been a high fantasy reader, but this year in particular i've been loving contemporary romance, so i suppose that is a favourite genre now as well. thought i was a romantasy reader, but none of the romantasy books i've picked up this year has done it for me, so i suppose i need my fantasy and romance separate

Is there a series you just go back and read over and over?
i may pick up a series i read years ago for nostalgic purposes, but no, i don't have a specific series i read again and again

A series you will not touch again?
powerless trilogy by lauren robers. first book was ok, like not great but readable. second book was just bad in every way. only skimmed it through for the satisfaction of giving it one star. i'm not reading the third book when that comes out. also thought stephanie garber wasn't gonna be for me because i just couldn't for the life of me get into once upon a broken heart, but then i picked up caraval from the library on a whim and really enjoyed it so now i think i might try a reread of ouabh so that i can finish that trilogy as well. (mainly just want to love ouabh because i adore the pink paperbacks. they're so pretty, and i don't want a reason to unhaul them...)

Do you have a favorite time/weather/place to read?
love reading in the sofa on a rainy day with a cozy blanket and a cup of tea. that's peak happiness

Do you have a book/author that's a problematic fav or guilty pleasure?
zodiac academy, lol, i'm not elaborating
dude i've been on a romantasy binge lately and the booktok reccomendations just aren't doing it for me.
i really REALLY like ouabh, the first book is harder to read because of the durse and the fact that nobody can talk about redacted but the second book is where all the story is. i havent read the third book yet because i'm waiting on the audiobook

but i alsoc ouldn't finish caraval, so i guess take that reccomendation how you will lol

My favorite genre is fantasy / romantasy, but I also read a lot more genres and like them.

Currently reading: the book of doors from Gareth Brown, page 250.
I love it so far, it reminds me of doctor who & lock & key haha.

I'm back to tell you about the deal breaker!!

Okay so I have about 20 pages left to read before it's over but it's a okay book for sure.
Would I say I ship the main characters? No, not really.  But I had a good cry nontheless.

Rating: 3/5 stars
