my favorite sandwich

homemade hummus
250g chickpeas (100g if u use dry ones)
2 cloves fresh garlic
1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
100g tahini (or 4-6 tbsp)
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts cumin
3/4 of 1dl water

blend everything w either one of these things: 


pre-make the hummus the night before. toast 2 pieces of bread and add hummus, pickled red onion, feta cheese and lots of thinly sliced cucumber. its the besttttt

^if ur REALLY patient u could mash the chickpeas with a fork but i dont reccommend it

i ruined store bought hummus for myself, homemade really is the best :cry its so goood

i usually just slap it on a sandwich or eat it w those kind of bowls that has a lot of greens (kale, lentils, sweet potatoes etc)   also always with feta!! i also love roasted chickpeas over rice, i should add roasted ones to hummus as well when i think ab it

also if ur allergic to lemon u could substitute it for other citrus ur not allergic to (like lime or orange)!! if ur allergic to all citrus uhh i guess it would be interesting to try juice from some other fruit that is sour??

I was thinking red peppers! Theyre acidic but not so bad!


I love rosted chickpeas, I like to cook them too much so theyre crispy and crunchy and put them on kale with a balsamic/oil dressing!! Adding cucumber, tomato, onion, and of course feta. It is really the superior cheese
