Yeah, but it takes so much energy to be that active. Even if I want to talk with someone irl I feel like I don't have the power now. There are too many things going on right now so I just like to be alone and talk with people here. I know that things will get better but right now ever thing feels kind of bad. My goal is to work again but right now I just want to be alone and spend time in my bed which my mom doesn't like. She wants me to go to a therapist but I have said no because it isn't my thing.

It's unfortunate, but that's often what happens. People get busy with their lives and then everyone really need to make an effort to make friendships last. It's not just you, I totally agree. But it kind of needs to go both ways tho, and then I also now that I'm not the best at taking up the contact and therefore may be the reason friends kind of drift away from me and find others to hang out with... Snapchat is the thing, haha! Like that's how I keep in contact with my friends overseas, cause we just snap about random things that happens during the day, small thoughts, deeper thoughts, just everything really. Though I, as you, wish I could talk to them properly, and that's the reason I'm trying out the therapist thing. Really, the only proper chats I have are on vp (like this one right now), and I feel like I should talk to someone irl as well.Petite wrote:
It's good that you manage to handle most of it yourself but it must be hard to not have any friend around you, cause, as I've learned the past few months, friends are so important and can be crucial in your well being even if you don't see it yourself. Some even trust friends more than family, and those long friend talks about life are the best <3 Aren't you able to call or text, or even email, your friend in New Zealand?
That's true and I do have some other friends but most of them are busy with life and I'm kind of tired to always be the one who has to take up the contact if I want to see them. I don't know if it is just me but if someone else like sends you a text with like ''Hi, do you want to meet up and hang'' it shows that they care about you and want to be with you. My best friend who just stopped to text me one day was like that which made me happy because that showed that he actually cared and wanted to talk with me, but I guess we all a different so they can care but are maybe shy or busy idk. Sadly I can't or when I go to sleep she wakes up and she works as a nanny so the only time I can talk with her is on weekends which can be hard.
