A little war between the demons of Abyss and celestials of the Seven Heavens and a couple hundred years later, life now fills the impact site. A new city state has risen around the study of the comet's weave, called Mercuria, after one of Celestia's heavens. Beings from all over are drawn to this place where the fabric between the outer and inner planes feels so thin, you could almost accidentally step to another dimension. People of faith gather to be closer to their deities, wizards of all schools and castes come to study and experiment, and of course, for those less intent on learning, there are multitude of ways to enrich yourself in Mercuria.
Waaaaaa this is such a cool setting… now I am also sad you didn’t get to use it 😭 ur brain is full of so much creativity
maebe one day..... i have a bunch of Moments i wrote for our campaign i never got to use bcs we started with a one shot kind of before heading to Mercuria and i have all this character specific stuff depending how close they are with magic - how the cleric and magic user of the party would feel the first time stepping within the bounds of the crater, and how for the one character who had no innate magic ability at all would feel when they had 0 reaction to it, despite traveling all the way there just so they could wake the magic inside them and how devastating that would be

I did sleep until like 13 so it’s not like I’ve been up for 24 hours or anyfing so I think it’s still solidarity…
