you are not obligated to tell her the reason you cannot come in, also partly so this doesnt happen

i'm extremely idk.. demotivated seeing that the obvious candidate for a main supervisor no longer works there so i don't even know if there's a point in applying because there aren't really any suitable people and idk if the project is that interesting and i don't think i'm qualified and i feel stupid and like a failure and an increasingly large part of me just wants to become terminally ill so i don't have to deal with this not to overshare but i'm very .. yeah...... i suck

you could say that it would be too much stress for you opening and then going, or you dont need to say much rly. you are allowed to say no, you dont even need a good reason. she cant force you to take shifts that arent yours!!!!!

yea! when i worked at nille and my coworker asked to trade and when i said no and like why would make it seem like her thing was more important than mine. so not saying what could rly save you sometimes lmao
